The outfit is chosen, and then comes the question on the morning of the event: which shoes? Footwear is not part of our sets, so here is a quick reference for matching what he already has. The pairings come from the styling notes on our product pages.

Khussa, chappal or sneakers
- Khussa is the dressiest choice and suits embroidered sets and waistcoat suits.
- Peshawari chappals are comfortable for long days and look right with plain and earthy colours.
- Sneakers in white or off-white can work with a casual plain kurta if he refuses anything else.
With waistcoat suits
For our 3 piece waistcoat suits, match the shoes to the event. The black suit pairs with black or silver khussa, and the olive green suit with tan or golden khussa.
Comfort matters more than the match
A child in uncomfortable shoes will take them off within the hour. If the khussa is new, let him wear it at home for a day or two before the event. For long wedding functions, carry a spare pair of chappals.
