Boys kurta shalwar in Pakistan is usually sold by a size number such as 16, 20 or 28, not by S, M and L. The number alone does not tell you much, so this guide puts the age, kameez length and chest for each size in one place.

Use length first, age second
Two boys of the same age can differ by a full size. Age is a quick starting point, but the kameez length is the more reliable number. Take a kameez that fits your son well today, measure it from the shoulder seam to the hem, and find the closest length in the chart. Our guide on how to measure your child at home explains this step by step.
If he is between two sizes
- If the outfit is for an event some weeks away, the larger size gives room to grow.
- If he is slim for his age, match the length and check the chest column before going up.
- If you are still unsure, send us his age, height and the length of a kameez that fits him on WhatsApp and we will suggest a size.
Check the chart on the product page
Each product page carries its own size chart, and on the page the age appears under every size button. Our waistcoat suits use a different chart with shalwar and waistcoat lengths, covered in the waistcoat suit size guide. Always go by the chart on the product you are buying.
